The main purpose of this work is to design and implement a working Wireless Sensor Network prototype system for ambulatory monitoring of human's body physical activities and health status. The proposed system is entitled "Online Patient Monitoring System via Wireless Sensor Network" (OPMS-WSN). Due to the usage of new emerging technology to develop systems for monitoring patients suffering from different types of illnesses, the Online Monitoring System becomes a helpful and powerful system that can be used for online monitoring patients. Also, this system can be used at any time, anywhere without any time constraints. The OPMS-WSN system gives advantages of mobility for patients, caregivers, and doctors (i.e., unrestricted to a specific place). In other words, using this system usually, does not impose on its users to stay in a hospital for a long time. The OPMS-WSN system reduces wasting resources (e.g., no need for dedicated permanent healthcare staff, no need for dedicated beds, no extra costs are paid to stay in hospital)
