In India, studies on Quaternary coastal sediments have gained importance in recent decades to understand the Quaternary depositional environments, sea level changes and the neotectonic activity, especially along the country's eastern coast. The present study is a geomorphological approach. Dr.Ch.Udaya Bhaskara Rao is working as Assistant Professor teaching Remote Sensing,GIS and Geomorphology in the Department of Geography and Resource Management, Mizoram University, Aizawl.He has obtained M.Sc. and Ph.D.Degrees from Andhra University,Visakhapatnam.He has published research articles in various national and international journals.
