This work makes use of the existing structure discovered by many thinkers certifying the existence of a pendulum-like discussion about the position of the mind. Some structures of the Hegelian terminology are discussed followed by a critical evaluation of the concept of Geist (spirit). In doing so, the aim is not to rate these different interpretations or claim that Hegel was the only legitimate representative of a mind position. The question: "How Much Spirit is in a structure?" is not posed just as simple quantifiable point of discussion, but must first be formulated openly and serve as a kind of benchmark for the positions of Cognitive Science. The psychology chapter serves as a conceptual bridge, because already in Hegel's time there were clashes of his system with the existing currents of psychology. After that follows an examination and a conceptual approximation of the word cognition as well as a comparison between the structures found on artificial intelligence, with particular reference to Turing, the ideas of Kahneman and a discussion of the standard of freedom in the penultimate chapter. The results are summarized in the final chapter once again.
