Art historian Wiley Jones enjoys a mundane existence in the protective cocoon of academia. When Frank Hamilton the current project director winds up dead, they find themselves in a race against the clock to unwind the mystery before they are either forced to leave the country or wind up dead themselves. As they struggle to sort through the confusion surrounding the art work and their relationship they come to realize that the only safe harbor may be each other and that leaves far more at risk than they thought.
