Prof Dr Demin Tao is a historian of Japan at Kansai University and the founding president of the Society for Cultural Interaction in East Asia. He was a research fellow at Princeton and Harvard, and with the Shibusawa Eiichi Memorial Foundation. Prof Dr Takao Fujita is a historian of China and the initiator of the Graduate School of East Asian Cultures at Kansai University. He has taken a leadership role in many research projects in Asian Studies.
