Margaret Heather Vickers, BBus, MBA, PhD, is Professor of Management, School of Business, and a member of the Research Centre for Positive Psychology and Education (CPPE), at the University of Western Sydney, Sydney, Australia. Professor Vickers is an international expert in adversity at work, in particular, workplace bullying. She is also an expert qualitative and mixed methods researcher, author of over 160 international refereed articles, and two research books. She is the recipient of numerous prestigious competitive Australian government research grants, including one on workplace bullying, and is currently an editorial board member of nine international journals. She was formerly the Editor in Chief of the Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal, published by Springer, New York, USA.
