Many cotton fabrics were treated with wrinkle free finishes to reduce wrinkling. These wrinkle resistant finishes to cotton fabrics improved comfort, ease of maintenance, dimensional stability and pilling performance. The crosslinking resin cross linked with fibre and the result of such crosslinking reaction from fibres bonded together. As a result, fabric had increased wrinkle-resistant, wrinkle recovery, dimensional stability and shape retention. Additionally, wrinkle free finishes treated fabric dry more easily. The objective of this research is to investigate the effect of different levels of wrinkle-free treatment on fabric properties important to durability and comfort. The present study was conducted to optimize the application of different wrinkle free finishes with the best combination of various application methods and concentrations in respect fabric properties. It was observed that all the variables had significant effect upon the physical and color fastness properties of fabric while all the possible interactions showed non- significant effect.
