Corpora are among the hottest issues in translation studies affecting both pure and applied realms of the discipline. As for pure translation studies, corpora have done their part through contributions to the studies on translational language and translation universals. O autorze

Tengku Sepora Tengku Mahadi is associate professor in the school of Languages, Literacies and Translation at the Universiti Sains Malaysia. She lectures in translation theories and practice and supervises research in Translation Studies at MA and PhD levels. She is also the author of Text-wise in Translation (2006).
Helia Vaezian and Mahmoud Akbari are currently PhD students of Translation Studies at the School of Languages, Literacies and Translation of the Universiti Sains Malaysia.
