Gong, Gang gained his PhD in Economics from New School University in the US. He is Professor in theSchool of Economics, Nankai University in China. He has publishedfour bookspublished by Princeton University Press and Oxford University Press, andhas also published more than 40 academic papers in English and in Chinese. Currently, he is on the advisory board of Metroeconomica.
