Nicholas Abercrombie and Alan Warde are both Professors of Sociology at the University of Lancaster. Keith Soothill and John Urry are, respectively, Professor of Applied Social Science and Professor of Sociology at the University of Lancaster. Sylvia Walby is Professor of Sociology at the University of Bristol.
