Isabela Merila is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English, Faculty of Letters, Dun rea de Jos University of Gala i, Romania. She received her PhD in British and American Literature from the Al. I. Cuza University of Ia i in June 2008. Her current research interests include: constructing otherness in literature and translating culture.
