Institute at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), specializing in

neuroscience and consciousness studies. Xue Fan gained a PhD in epistemology and history of

science and technology as well as a PhD in literature and philosophy from Paris Diderot

University.
