The usage of microgasturbine for power generation has increased in recent years and is likely to continue to increase. The proportion of power generation using combined heat and power is also growing mainly due to efficiency improvements and environmental benefits. This thesis intends to examine the microgasturbines, after a short introduction about combined heat and power plants, the different concepts which can be used for combined heat and power is described. In addition, the thesis contains an analysis of the different properties and types of fuel. The aim of this project is to install a microgasturbine in the test container and to document the extant measurement container. The micorgasturbine which is installed in the test container is CapstoneC30.
