Lee Walters is Associate Professor in Philosophy at the University of Southampton and Associate Editor of Analysis. He works mainly in the philosophy of logic and language, metaphysics, and related issues in aesthetics, in particular on the logic and semantics of conditionals, the metaphysics of art, and fiction. In 2016-7 he held a British Academy Mid-Career Fellowship on the Metaphysics of Art, and in 2015 he was a Junior Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study
at Central European University.
John Hawthorne is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Southern California. He was previously Waynflete Professor of Metaphysical Philosophy at the University of Oxford and Professor of Philosophy at Rutgers University.
