This book deals with the costs involved in managing unwanted plants in the cultivation of acerola (Malpighia Ermaginata, DC). Acerola has been gaining prominence in Brazil due to the plant's adaptation to tropical and subtropical climates. It is necessary to compare the costs involved in cultural practices in three types of management: mechanised weeding, manual weeding, and ground cover. The experiment was conducted on land belonging to the Amway Nutrilite Farm in Brazil, located in the northeast of the country in the municipality of Ubajara, Ceará.
