It forms the very groundwork of human relations, which are basically communicative interactions. A fundamental element of human existence, communication has been studied for a long time. Communication is closely related with, and structured according to human language. The very term is used in close connection with other terms, i.e. speech, idiom and code. It virtually represents the essential function of language, as a means that governs human interaction, which is all the more important in the complex context of todays world.

Finalized his PhD thesis in Anglo-Romanian lexicology at the University of Bucharest, in 2003 (Structura etimologica a vocabularului neologic (cu speciala referire la anglicismele din limba româna - Etymological structure of the neologic vocabulary).
