The Editors: Martin Pütz is Full Professor of Linguistics and English Language at the University of Koblenz-Landau (Campus Landau). Recently he was appointed External Examiner for the Language and Communication Programme at the University of Hong Kong. JoAnne Neff-van Aertselaer is Associate Professor of Linguistics and English Language at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Teun A. van Dijk is Visiting Professor at the University at Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, after early retirement as Professor of Discourse Studies at the University of Amsterdam.
