Cardiac diseases constitute a significant trepidation for the last two decades and still, it is life-threatening. To reduce such problems, a combinative approach has been carried out to understand the assimilation of cholesterol. The concoction was prepared using potential probiotic bacteria isolated from lactating mother's milk sample with Terminalia Arjuna bark powder. In this study, eight probiotic isolates were screened for their primary acid tolerance and bile tolerance from which four isolates were given the highest tolerance will require for screening of gastric, intestinal, gastric, and intestinal simulation. All four probiotic isolates give the highest cholesterol assimilation. And 0.2% bile salt-containing medium gives higher cholesterol assimilation than without bile and 0.3 % bile. Terminalia arjuna tree bark extract with different solvents (hexane, methanol, chloroform, ethyl alcohol,) extracts with the probiotic isolates formulation for cholesterol assimilation. The formulation of probiotic isolate and plant extract required immobilization. It concludes that isolates survive in the gastric transit tolerance and give higher cholesterol assimilation with plant extract.
