The Sootra Sthana of the Sushruta Samhita enjoys a place of pride in the Ayurveda fraternity as it is the treasure of the basics of Ayurveda. The chapter 15 of the sootra sthana of sushruta samhita is the collection of the basic tenets of the physiology and pathology of Ayurveda system of medicine. The unique principle of the inter relation of the various tissues having wide range of application in the clinical practice is the crux of the chapter which is reinvented and enlightened in this work. This work therefore poses an opportunity to the Ayurveda knowledge seeker to comprehend the fundamentals of ayurveda and apply them to achieve the coveted goal of Health.

The author Dr. Vaibhav has passed his BAMS (Graduation) from the Devi Ahilya University Indore in the year 2002 and stood third in the merit list.Dr. Vaibhav, then pursued his post graduation from the Gujarat Ayurved University,Jamnagar, Gujarat in the speciality of samhita and was awarded the Gold Medal. He has an academic experience of 7 years.
