Chapter I provide greater insight into the unknown factors that are prevalent within the diverse organization. We further examine the role of women in the protection of borders and the methods of protecting the nation's populace from war, internal conflict, human rights atrocities, and disease, which according to Potter & Peters (2008) "if left unattended," can lead to rising insecurity, fomenting possible international crises" (p. 2).
