Commissioned by the Belgian Edith Cavell Commemoration Group for the Centenary of Nurse Cavell's execution, the Cavell Mass is a setting of the full text of the Mass, with a duration of twenty minutes. It is scored for SATB soli and chorus, with a small orchestra of trumpets, timpani, strings, and organ.
