The Author: Lih-Shing Wang received her M.A. from the University of Illinois, Ed.S. from the University of Georgia, and her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. Being actively involved in the language research and measurement field, she has published more than 20 professional articles and monographs. A former research scientist at the Center for Applied Linguistics in Washington, D.C., she is currently a professor of psychology at National Chung Cheng University in Taiwan, Republic of China.
