Gabrielle Riches is currently a Ph.D Fellow at Leeds Metropolitan University, UK. Her doctoral research is focused on women's involvement in the moshpit within the Leeds metal music scene. She obtained her Master of Arts degree in 2012 from the University of Alberta,Canada in Recreation and Leisure Studies.
