This book gives an insight into the making of casualties in our churches today. Those who create casualties in most cases have been casualties themselves. It is the case of the abused becoming the abuser. I became a casualty of the church, but not I alone, but the preacher who thought he had the right to be selfish and a glutton, who had become a part of the system of an egotistical tradition; he too was a casualty. Hypocrisy, self centeredness, ignorance, pride and arrogance, lack of concern, and being apathetic are some of the mania that create casualties in our churches. As a result of these reckless behaviors and lack of exercising the true knowledge of the bible, the mind and spirit of many have been broken and some gravely injured, and they have turned their back on God because of how they were mistreated at the church. We must remember as written: For a just man faileth seven times, and riseth up again... (Proverbs 24:16).
