Urban infrastructure has always been a complex issue to address. Over time, but continuing in this context, and taking into account the changes that time brings, and aiming at a debate focused on a case study, this work focuses on the bike path in the municipality of Ilha Solteira, which is being built on the municipality's perimeter road (Avenida Continental). To arrive at this focus, we relied on bibliographic support and knowledge of the issues that affect the population in terms of urban infrastructure, affecting its dynamism, as well as material provided by the Ilha Solteira City Hall. Thus, here, the intention is to focus on infrastructure, how it has been done, and the consequences of the measures taken. The results will show images obtained in chronological order for the period between January and November 2016. As the results are shown, there is room for debate, aligning technical concepts from different areas such as hydraulics, hydrology, paving, soil mechanics, and transportation planning. In eleven months, the content acquired was adequate and became the essence.
