Carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus L.) is one of the most beautiful and commercial important flower crop. The practice of foliar spray of chemical fertilizers under protected conditions improves the quality as well as productivity of the crop. Protected condition offers year round cultivation of the crop and the main aim of the research is to reduce the usage of chemical fertilizers through foliar application and the smaller quantity of fertilizer is applied through foliar application which will reduce the cost of cultivation also, so that the profit to the farmer may be increased.
