The concluding part of the Sons of Asgard: Call of the Blood continues to follow the adventures of the two Danish brothers and their Elven ally. The three have been lead into the vicious schemes of ancient powers who reside in realms not of their own. The Danish warrior Raif now has to face the challenges of creatures he once believed as myth and legend. For the sake of his mortal life and soul he must become the victor of the Queen of Helheim's bloodthirsty games. If the mortal fails in his quest and the cruel murderer Drax is successful; then Midgard will be enveloped by the all consuming fires of the fanatical Jotun warriors and the first steps to Ragnorak will have been taken. The story is played out against the political intrigue of the Frankish conquest of Central Europe and the numerous plots and schemes of dark entities who dwell away from the warmth of Midgard's sun. We find the ancient gods powerless to directly intervene and only the courage of the loyal Human warriors can save the nine realms from a chaotic event which threatens everything we hold dear. In this story we are taken from the cold grey stale halls of Helheim to the burning ash lands of Muspleheim. We see intrigue and violence, witness sorrow and loss, we feel love and deep hatred, whilst we root for goodness to overcome the shadowy darkness that threatens all living life forms. Throughout the journey of the mortal warriors we wonder if beings deemed lowly can prevent the course of destiny and save the order that permits their continued existence.
