Have you ever prayed for someone to be healed and it didn't happen? Have you done everything you know to do, but still they were not healed? Well, this situation led Marlene to come face-to-face with God and make some bold, or foolish, arguments with Him. She had to have some answers or believe the whole thing was a lie.
Here's what came of it. God sat her down and she stayed there at the computer, typing as fast as the words came to her and ended up with a book.
The following is the Preface to: But, God, They Died :
I did everything that I knew to do in each instance, everything God told me to do by the leading of the Holy Spirit; and, all according to my clearest understanding of God's Holy Word. I believed with all my heart; and, meticulously followed each detail as directed. I stood on the Word and made my proclamations accordingly. In each situation, I believed and expected the desired results -

When Susan asked me to write a comment for her book, I told her that our Heavenly Father made audio books for me. In other words, I don't really like to read. However, when I started reading, I found myself wanting to know what happened next. Since I have dealt with deliverance for many years, I could identify with Susan in so many ways. I agree with everything I read and loved what I read.
What I really appreciated was, that Susan not only shared her successes, but also when there wasn't a successful ending to the story. It is often said that experience is the best teacher. I disagree with that statement. I believe that learning from others experience is the best teacher, and it is so much less painful.
I recommend this book to all Christians, after all we have been given a commandment by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (He gives no suggestions) in Mark 16:15-17 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
I agree with Susan that we must only function by the Holy Spirit, or we can do more harm than good.
This book, in my opionion, is a tool to fulfill God's destiny for our lives, for all who are the called, according to His purpose. -- Gabriele Delgado
