Welcome to the wonderful world of Bustle & Sew and Issue 66 of our monthly magazine packed with projects, features, articles and much more besides, in fact it's a Jolly Good Read
The Bustle & Sew Magazine isn't your average news stand offering, it's more of a mini-book full of goodies designed to appeal to everyone who loves to create lovely items for home and family. We don't just limit ourselves to sewing though this is of course is very much at the heart of every issue. We love to celebrate the simple (and totally wonderful) things in life as well enjoying creating with needle and thread. Inside you'll discover a collection of six new Bustle & Sew projects as well as features, articles, a round of online goodies, baking - and even a poetry corner.
The Bustle & Sew Magazine is the work of just three women - Helen Dickson, the founder of and creative force behind the Bustle & Sew bunny, her daughter Rosie who joined the team last year and our newest team member Debbie who's a bit of a whiz in the kitchen So if you're expecting a glossy high-street, high-budget publication, stuffed with adverts and promotions, then this probably isn't the magazine for you. But if you're looking for quirky, unusual and fun sewing projects, all with Helen's unique style, and enjoy filling your home with beautiful ideas, then you're sure to love the Bustle & Sew Magazine.
This month there's a look behind the scenes as we visit three very talented maker/designers with skills ranging from hand embroidery to patchwork, quilting and machine applique. We take a delightful tour around an English walled garden, then enjoy an al fresco meal with Debbie's delicious recipes. As always there are six new Bustle & Sew patterns to enjoy - you'll see them all on the front cover..
There's lots more inside too - and don't forget, you are free to sell items you personally have made from Bustle & Sew patterns. This month as the magazine is so stuffed with goodies, I've made the templates available separately. I've included a link to download them all as easy to use pdf files - so no need for tracing or cutting your book. All the templates are full size, so there's no awkward re-sizing - no fiddling around with photocopiers or hanging around at printing shops - you can start creating straight away
