House Crow is passerine bird originated in sub-continent ranging in size from large to medium small. Breeding season extended from early June to September. Mean nest density of House Crow on research was 2.4 nests/acre. They nested on 4 different tree species viz Melia azedarach, Pinus roxburgii, Platanus orientalis and Populus euphratica. Mean tree height measured 14.8m, average nest height 11.8m. Mean maximum diameter of nests measured 42.3cm, minimum nest diameter 39.0cm, Mean depth of the nests measured 19.3cm. The maximum diameter of nests cup 15.6cm, minimum diameter of nest cup 13.3cm. Mean cup depth was 8.3cm. Average weight of the nests was 1.4kg. Clutch size was 4.0 with range (1-6 eggs). Average egg weight recorded was 12.30g. Mean length of the eggs measured was 38.6mm, width 26.0mm, volume calculated 13.34cm3 and egg shape index 1.42. Egg success was 0.551 (64/116), nest success was 0.690 (29/42), number of successful fledglings produced per nest was 1.44. It is concluded that House Crow is a tree nester and favors trees with a dense canopies and taller in length for constructing nests.
