O autorze

The Author: Änne Bäumer-Schleinkofer was born in 1957. After studying classics and mathematics in Mainz and Vienna, she took a Ph.D. in classics. From 1981 to 1982 she did research work at the German Copernicus Research Center. From 1982 to 1985 she studied Biology in Mainz and took a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences. From 1986 to 1987 she was on the Faculty of Mathematics in Mainz participating in the «Copernici opera minora» research project. From 1987 until 1992 she was an Assistant Lecturer for the History of Sciences at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University Mainz, and after her habilitation for the History of Science in June 1991, she was appointed a Lecturer in 1992 and an extraordinary Professor in 1997.
Änne Bäumer-Schleinkofer wurde 1957 geboren. 1975 bis 1981 Studium der Klassischen Philologie, Philosophie und Mathematik in Mainz und Wien; 1981 Promotion. Von 1981 bis 1982 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin der Deutschen Copernicus-Forschungsstelle. Von 1982 bis 1986 Studium der Biologie in Mainz; 1985 Promotion zum Doktor der Naturwissenschaften. 1986 bis 1987 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Fachbereich Mathematik im Rahmen des von der DFG geförderten Forschungsprojektes «Copernici opera minora». Von 1987 bis 1992 Hochschulassistentin für das Fach Geschichte der Naturwissenschaften am Fachbereich Mathematik der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz. 1991 Habilitation im Fach Geschichte der Naturwissenschaften; 1992 Ernennung zur Hochschuldozentin, 1997 Ernennung zur apl. Professorin.
