Countries of Asia are traditionally an important area of Belarus's multi-vector foreign policy course and promotion of Belarusian interests in the "far arc" regions. The states of the continent now claim to be compared with the locomotive of global economic development, as evidenced by the calculations of the International Monetary Fund.
