In this investigation behavior of HSC Corbels strengthened with CFRP sheets was studied. The increase in load capacity was found to be not more 30% using the best strengthening configuration. Strut and tie model was found to be not accurate and not safe for calculating the ultimate load capacity of corbels strengthened with CFRP sheets. Using shear friction method for analyzing reinforced concrete corbels strengthened with CFRP was found to be safe and moderately accurate. The ratio of test/calculated ultimate load using shear friction theory was found to be 1.43. A procedure was introduced to be used in design of strengthened corbels or cracked corbels to be repaired.
