Elizabeth Otto is Associate Professor of Art History and Visual Studies, State University of New York at Buffalo, USA Patrick Rössler is Professor of Empirical Communication Research and Methods at the University of Erfurt, Germany. His research has concentrated on media effects, political communication, and the history of visual communication. Rössler has worked as a curator on a diverse range of topics from art and media history in Germany, France, the USA and Japan. He wrote The Bauhaus and Public Relations (2014), and recently co-edited Bauhaus Bodies: Gender, Sexuality, and Body Culture in Modernism's Legendary Art School with Elizabeth Otto (2019).
