Helen Wood is Professor of Media and Cultural Studies at the University of Aston, Birmingham, UK. She has published widely on gender, television, class and audiences including the books Talking With Television and Reacting to Reality Television with Beverley Skeggs. She was formerly a long-serving editor of the European Journal of Cultural Studies.
