Yet all through these years his life reveals a deeper issue that he and his wife battled to overcome. The twist in this true testimony was how God broke through to Robert and revealed that he was transgender. Years and years of trying to overcome his 'wicked' heart and 'deceived' mind all failed as he discovered that he was not to 'overcome' at all, but accept himself and go help others. So after having to leave his wife and family who all rejected him, he embarked on a new journey into this whole world of gender identity and related issues. Yet, he, now she, Robbie Dee, has continued to have God direct her steps.
