The technical research entitled "Assessment of Floral and Faunal Diversity of Prok and Chumchet VDC in Manaslu Conservation Area" deeds to explore the current status of major floral and faunal diversity, identification of hotspots of major species and establishment of permanent transect lines for biodiversity monitoring and survey. GPS was used to record the position of each sampled plots and observed specimens. Reconnaissance survey and direct observation/measurement was carried out to gather primary data about floral and faunal diversity. Both Direct observation through different transects and indirect evidences through interview and literature survey was carried to enlist mammal, reptile and bird species. The sample plots were laid out randomly with the sampling intensity 1% for trees, 0.5% for shrubs and 0.001% for herbs. The collected data were analyzed by using Arc-view and MS-Excel 2003 software and demonstrated through maps and tables.

He is a resident of Dedeldhura district was born on 07/07/1981, has completed M.Sc. Forestry from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He was awarded by "ITTO Fellowship Award 2009" to acquire the degree. He has completed three field researches in field of biodiversity conservation and climate change because his keen interest and involvement in these areas
