I worked as a professional architect in private firms and government organizations for eleven years and then I joined in teaching. After teaching architecture in two universities for over 25 years I had a feeling that the way teachers teach architectural design to the beginners cannot give them what they really need for designing architecture in the coming years.

BIJON B. SARMA, born in Daulat Khan, Bhola on 21.02.1949, passed B.Arch. and M.Arch. (Gold Medal) from BUET (Dhaka,Bangladesh), worked as consulting architect in Bangladesh (1977-1982), in Nigeria (1982-1988), and then as teacher in Khulna University (1991-2009) and now, as Professor in Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology.
