Anna M. Agathangelou teaches at York University, Toronto. Her book entitled Global Political Economy of Sex: Desire, Violence and Insecurity (2004) was published by Palgrave/Macmillan; her most recent book, Transforming World Politics: From Empire to Multiple Worlds (2009), co-authored with L.H.M. Ling, was published by Routledge. Nevzat Soguk is Professor and Deputy Director of the Global Cities Research Institute at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. Formerly, he was Professor and Chair of Political Science at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. His most recent book, Globalization and Islamism: Beyond Fundamentalism (2010), was published by Rowman and Littlefield.
