This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the International Workshop on Graph Transformation with Industrial Relevance, AGTIVE'99, held in Kerkrade, The Netherlands, in June 1999.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Manfred Nagl ist Inhaber des Lehrstuhls Informatik III an der Rheinisch-Westfälischen Technischen Hochschule Aachen. Dr. Manfred Münch ist Process Architect in der Software-Entwicklung im Bereich Anwendungsplattform der SAP AG in Walldorf. Der promovierte Ingenieur und langjährige Software-Entwickler hat sich erstmals 1988 bei der Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG mit dem Thema Variantenkonfiguration befasst. Seit 1999 ist er im Produktmanagement und in der Entwicklung der SAP AG für das Thema Produktkonfiguration zuständig. Von 2001 bis 2004 hat er als Sekretär der Configuration Work Group die Geschäfte der SAP-Benutzergruppe zur Produktkonfiguration geführt.
