Mary-Anne Lea studied marine science and zoology at the University of Sydney before completing a PhD at the University of Tasmania on Antarctic fur seal ecology at Iles Kerguelen. Currently, as a Research Fellow at the University of Tasmania, her research focuses on the environmental and climatic determinants of migration in marine predators.
