Kourouma's writing has attracted so many scholars that some might ask whether there is anything left that would still be worth researching. It seems to us that very few notions have been grasped and that there is much left to say. Within this framework we were attracted by anomie and its impact on the religious practice in the society of this work. Indeed, in this microcosm, the religious "being and doing" are intriguing. Here fetishism, Christianity and Islamism cohabit in the same individuals. The paradox goes to the extremes with the creation of Christian fetishes and Muslim fetishes. In three chapters we have identified the causes of this practice and the types at work. Pragmalinguistics has thus allowed us to combine literature, linguistics, semiotics and sociology of religions. In the end, we discovered that religious anomie is the specific disease of postmodern society, of which Kourouma's characters are considered as legisignes, archetypes or prototypes, according to theories.
