O autorze

Prof. Dr. med. Dr. med. h. c. Johannes W. Rohen ist Professor für Anatomie, war Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Anatomie und Vorstand des Anatomischen Institutes an der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Er hat zahlreiche Wissenschaftspreise und Ehrungen erhalten. Prof. em., M.D. Chihiro Yokochi ist Professor für Anatomie und ehemaliger Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Anatomie am Kanagawa Dental College in Yokosuka, Japan. Prof. Dr. med. Elke Lütjen-Drecoll ist Professorin für Anatomie und war Inhaberin des Lehrstuhls für Anatomie an der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Sie wurde vielfach wissenschaftlich ausgezeichnet und ist seit 2005 Präsidentin der Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Literatur in Mainz.
