The question that arises is why the new inventions in dental healthcare science did not reduce the emotional stress of patients and dentists overall? This book provides an analysis of how the dental industry can be improved, by researching the patients and dentists interactions with the designs of dental equipment. It will look at how an Industrial Design can improve the overall well - being of the patient and dentist, and should be especially useful to the professionals in Medical and Design fields, or anyone else who had experienced work related pain in the dental field and readers who are afraid of the dental treatments.

In 2011, Olga Podoba graduated in BSc Industrial Design at National College of Art and Design, Dublin. She is working at Perch Dynamic Solutions Limited where she is designing ergonomic task furniture and other products for professional and home use. Also, she completing the MSc Medical Devices Design.
