Menopausal women experience physical, psychological and vasomotor symptoms such as hot flushes, depression, insomnia, anxiety and urogenital problems etc. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) benefited to improve sleep quality, sleep latency, sleep efficiency, psychological well-being by reducing depression, hot flushes, nervousness, anxiety, insomnia and menopausal problems. Yoga and exercise intervention reduces the menopausal problems such as vasomotor, psychological, physical and sexual problems it helps to improve the quality of life of middle aged women. Perceived severity of menopausal problems were reduced by psycho-educational intervention which prepare women for menopause. Attitude towards menopause has significant impact on psychological and physical symptoms. Negative attitude increases severity of symptoms and positive attitude reduces the symptoms of menopause. Alternative therapies are helpful for middle aged women to undergo the menopausal transition in vigilance way by accepting it as natural phenomena.
