The rehabilitation of completely edentulous jaws by fixed prosthesis supported by implants in immediate-function loading is considered a predictable procedure. However, the loss of posterior teeth may complicate the treatment plan, because of the difficulty in using the alveolar bone posterior to the inferior alveolar nerve or the upper sinus cavities without the addition of complicated surgical steps and or healing periods through nerve transposition and or bone-grafting procedures. The "All-on-4" treatment concept can be a viable option the clinician can offer to their edentulous patients who seek full-arch rehabilitation even with planned extraction cases.
