Once this is difficult task is accomplished then the economic, governance, and military cooperation and assistance programs can really become the long range strategic focus. The United States should view Yemen as a strategic and lasting economic partner whose valued friendship is based on the idea of economic prosperity, good governance, military cooperation, safety, and security for all of its citizens.
