Afterlife is a science fiction novelette. It is based around an artificial reality called the After Life yet In Lieu of Death "ALILOD" or Afterlife program. The main character, Jane, has lost her memories, but she has a guide in the Afterlife program- Astrid. Together they can do anything they can imagine, but when they run into a few roadblocks, the pair starts questioning why they are in the program and who put them there. Jane realizes that she wants to leave the Afterlife program to see her family again and to practice her faith.
