Gongtian Shen is a Professor and Vice President of China Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute (CSEI). He is also President of the Chinese Society for NDT (ChSNDT), Honorary President of International Society on Acoustic Emission (ISAE), Chairman of Acoustic Emission Testing Committee of International Organization for Standardization (ISO/TC135/SC9), President of Chinese Standardization Technical Committee for NDT (SAC/TC56) and President of Chinese Standardization Technical Committee for Ropeway and Amusement Facilities (SAC/TC250). He has for long been engaged in the research of special equipment manufacturing, quality and operational safety detection monitoring, evaluation technology research and instrument system development and engineering applications. As a science and technology expert and international standardization expert in the field of nondestructive testing and special equipment safety engineering, he has presided over more than 20 national scientific research projects, won 3 national science and technology progress awards and 19 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, developed 6 international (ISO) standards and 55 national and industry standards and published 7 monographs and more than 190 academic papers.
Junjiao Zhang is an Engineer with the China Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute (CSEI). She is also an Archivist of International Society on Acoustic Emission (ISAE) and Committee Manager of Acoustic Emission Testing Committee of International Organization for Standardization (ISO/TC135/SC9). She is mainly engaged in the research and standardization of nondestructive testing and evaluation for special equipment, such as pressure vessel, pressure piping, crane, amusement device and rope way. She has presided or participated in more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, won 4 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, developed 3 international (ISO) standards and 15 national standards and published more than 20 academic papers.
Zhanwen Wu is a Professor with the China Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute (CSEI). He is also the Secretary of the International Society on Acoustic Emission (ISAE), Member of Chinese Standardization Technical Committee for Hoisting Machinery (SAC/TC227) and Member of Chinese Standardization Technical Committee for Industrial Vehicle (SAC/TC332). He is mainly engaged in the inspection, evaluation and appraisal of special equipment such as elevators, hoisting machinery and field vehicles. He has also participated in the development of related regulations and standards. He has presided or participated in more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, won 7 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, developed 3 international (ISO) standards, 3 national regulations and more than 10 national and industry standards and published more than 20 academic papers.
