Dr Jingzheng Ren is currently an Assistant Professor of Process System Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and an Adjunct Associate Professor of Engineering Operations Research for Sustainability Science at University of Southern Denmark. He worked as an Associate Professor at University of Southern Denmark before moving to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has published more than 150 publications including 130 journal papers, 11 books, 27 book chapters and 13 conference papers/abstracts. His research focuses on operations management, sustainability engineering, industrial symbiosis, circular economy, life cycle sustainability assessment, energy system analysis, process system engineering, artificial intelligence, supply chain design, process integration and synthesis, energy planning and multi-criteria decision-making methods.
